MIG/MAG Wires

MIG stands for Metal Inert Gas and MAG stands for Metal Active Gas. As you can see the difference between these 2 is the type of shielding gas that’s being used during welding. Often the shielding gas comes from a cylinder but you can also choose welding wires filled with gas. MIG/MAG welding is considered to be one of the fastest welding methods and is often highly automated. In order to perform MIG/MAG welds, you would need a welding machine capable of holding MIG/MAG wires, a welding torch, and shielding gas (or gas-filled wires). Feel free to contact us  if you have any specific questions about our MIG/MAG wires.
